Creation of the Universe

Creation of The Universe -
By Matthew Turner!
There are many major events that effect Christians and one of the more major ones is Creation!
Many people in the Earth wonder how God created the world in 7 days and it is stopping their Christian faith but an interesting fact about the passage in Genesis is that it is actually written in a poetic sense meaning it wasn't meant to be taken literally but just to show that God did create the world in some way! This is important to the Christian faith as this is how we were created and it shows our God as an all powerful one who can create a world which we can live in that is perfect for us to live in.

The Old Testament talks about how God created the world in a poetic sense and how he tried to help the world be purified but due to human's sinning the world can't be purified. As God created the world and gave the humans everything he could of taken it away and did in the flood but always seemed to let the humans live and continue. Throughout the text of Genesis when God is creating the world he always seems to have a pattern and at the end of the day he reflects on what he has done and that can be taken as we also shouldn't get caught up with what we haven't done yet but we should be happy and reflect on what we have. The passage in Genesis being a poem means there are many hidden meanings like how God has everything ordered as if you put day 1 and day 4 next to each other they will have the same sort of purpose and it is the same with day 2 and 5 and day 3 and 6 and day 7 is by itself as God rest on this day and this also tells us that after a long hard day or week you always deserve a rest so you can just relax and feel better and be ready for the next week.
